I ordered a Sraven on 4/30 and received an email from my delivery advisor just yesterday that my VIN would be assigned within 2-5 weeks.

I'm sure Tesla will push to get my vehicle delivered by end of Q2 in order to meet their Q2 forecast and I will still qualify for the $3750 credit. So you won't even make the tax credit? WTF.
@doesitmatterApril 29 and yes. And they delivered ahead of schedule today
Glad you made it to the "next step". I am still in the dark. Wish there was a number i could call in to check..... every time i call the 888 number it bumps to my local car show room and they have the standard scripted response. So you won't even make the tax credit? WTF.
What's crazy to me is the fact that even today I can go configure my exact same spec car and they show a May delivery date. Either they are planning to unblock a huge backlog by the end of the month or they just don't care that they're quoting dates that aren't in the realm of reality.
I've also called the 800 number and talked to the showroom, they all say the same thing, "Around 2 weeks is average, sometimes it can be a week longer, but we don't have any details to provide you." They should know how many they put out per day on average, be able to look at the backlog, and give a pretty good estimate...
If that was the case, how do you explain not one post, or video has been posted on any social media outlet reviewing a refreshed Model S,XVehicles were delivered after this video was released. It appears either resolved or incorrect.

Not to mention why VINs haven't been released to placed orders for weeks.
Sounds like people who think they have the new models are perhaps mistaken.
Is it possible that there was a release of some early production cars, after which a hold was placed?
