I picked up my car yesterday (2/16/2013) from the Rockville, MD Service Center.

Due bill was charge cable silver trim, parcel shelf, repaint hood and replace windshield due to transport debris, and install front license plate. Front license plate will be done when windshield is replaced.

Best car I've ever owned or driven! Looking for excuses to go driving now. :biggrin:

And several more that look like they're waiting to be picked up or delivered.

@loganss, congrats! That seems like a heck of a lot of bodywork on the due bill for a new car. Repaint the hood and replace windshield? Were you happy and pissed?

My reaction exactly. Cover the cars! Repainting is unacceptable.

If they didn't tell me about it I probably wouldn't have noticed. Wasn't a big deal to me but they insisted so I said sure as long as I can still pick up my car and go WEEEEEEEeeeeee. Mission Accomplished.

DROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!!! (just a few more days!!!!!)

I know my due bill will have the carbon fiber spoiler on it (i.e. missing from the delivery of my car), which given that my Model S is white, I find a shame, but who cares: getting the car asap and driving it and going "weeeeeee!", as loganss so eloquently stated it, is my #1 mission in life at the moment!

Well, I'm ready, my garage is ready, my car is ready and I've now signed my final paperwork. Unfortunately due to some confusion over my trade-in and some missed calls with my Product Specialist all I don't have is an appointment at the factory. Friday ended with me not being certain what was happening. At that point I wasn't sure I was going to be able to contact anybody until possibly tuesday. Saturday night I unexpectedly got the final MVPA in my email and this morning an email with the countersigned MVPA that said a Delivery Specialist will contact me to set up a delivery time, but that didn't happen today. I didn't want to pick up Saturday or Sunday anyway, so thats fine, but I sure wish I knew when I'll be getting my car. Hopefully somebody will contact me tomorrow morning (I'm not sure whether tomorrow's a normal work day for them, unfortunately it is for me).

wow...she's a beauty. I'm one step closer. just signed my final MVPA today. my PS--who's working today to my surprise--told me that my car is still under production and will need to go through inspection. hopefully it'll be ready by the weekend. please post more pics...

We picked ours up yesterday at the factory. That's the first baby. Two more babies on the way in a couple weeks! All we can say about the car is "WOW!!" Just a phenomenal machine.
