GG - It is an opinion and not a fact, so your disagreement is noted. That said, I did see the car interiors on display and did not pay as much attention as I was focussed on the the large display
Attention to Detail/Finesse is something that Tesla will learn over time - for example, no matter how I adjust the driver seat, I cannot find a perfect position to rest my arms while driving - this had been straightforward on BMW as well as Volt. The quality of the seats is definitely worse than my Volt - btw, I had very low expectations from the Chevy. They also need to tighten up quality controls - one of the USB ports does not allow me to connect. I hope that they improve the Media Player software - it does not recognize my iPod over USB. I need to connect iPod using Bluetooth which screws up the connectivity to the iPhone. Also, over BT, it does not sync the media library from either the iPhone or iPod, so I am left with a very large display that functions worse than my Volt wrt Audio system. Even the scrappy BMW iPod integration was more functional than Tesla's. Good thing is this is something that they can fix in SW!
We all want Tesla to succeed, critical comments should be welcome for overall good of the company and improvement of the product.

Ankur, I respectfully disagree with your assessment. There isn't anything "downright poor" in this car. I find it hard to understand why you went ahead with the purchase even if you hadn't test driven it; I'm sure you'd have had the chance to look at the betas in the stores. The car hasn't changed much on the interior since the beta was unveiled in October 2011.
