ordered about 1/18. Delivery is showing 2/19 to 3/31 blue with black interior not plaid , round wheel on 19s.

Thanks @HAJM and @Toddl , added you! Adding Toddl kind-a threw some of the logic out the window... makes me wonder if Plaid/no Plaid matters for delivery, but with such a small sample size; inconsistencies are likely. We also don't have any deliveries, so no complete processes to view. I added locations and steering wheel and we can see if there is any impact. I think Duke's logic looks likely so far, also looking at you @Duke846 as the next one of us to either get a VIN or see a pushed EDD... fingers crossed for that VIN!

Also exterior color matters ... they have to re-tool the paint booth(s) when switching colors so likely they only run colors in batches.

Sadly, the forum represents likely a lot less than 3% of buyers so finding a statistically relevant pattern won't work but the exercise is fun!

You are right, but we might be able to get enough of a sample to be able to predict order and maybe even predict a tighter timeframe from EDD. Time will tell! And yes, it is fun

Sounds like EOQ delivery, but you get the latest trim, brakes, large rear screen. Don't be afraid to reject it if it is not perfect, lots of inventory, demand is low, don't accept someone else's reject. Get the car birthday as soon as you have been VINed.
Insist the car be open and that you have a good hour during daylight to look the car over before accepting. Let them know your expectations now, switch stores of needed.
The typical scraped up front bumper from coming off the car carrier requires removal to repaint and/or replace, don't expect it will properly fixed by SvC.
Black interior hides seat wrinkles and trim defects well, so you are ahead there..

Thanks for all of the updated info folks, added it and here is the updated list. Looks like Round Steering wheels will be the norm for 2023 model S!
