Google doc summary suggestion

[I[/I]

Delivery Data

Total reported = 145 (9-27)

I've created a Google Docs form to make updating this a lot easier as the numbers move into triple and quadruple digits.

Form: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dC1WQk53Z0h0UERORWw5U3NYM1pYR2c6MQ

Ireally like the googole doc summary. Just a suggestion. is it too much work to make a column of actual delivery date next to VIN

Getting close!

Finally! I received an email at 5pm today from my delivery specialist: my Sig Red S#187, VIN118 is on the truck and headed this way!

Minor bummer: if I weren't out of town this weekend I'd have it Saturday or Sunday, but I'll just have to wait until Monday, I guess.

I'd be happy to come over and take delivery for you. That's what friends do. (And huge congrats! Very happy for you. And jealous. And excited. And looking forward to pics and reviews.)

Is S1217 still the highest number contacted? I haven't seen this change at all in the last week or so. And we're up to 149 reported so far? How many new ones are we getting each day? Totally going from the spreadsheet here. I assume it is getting updated.

The spreadsheet only consists of those that have been contacted and have posted about it on the forums (TM or TMC). It's not a complete list and, based on the highest VIN being 465, only represents about a third of all total deliveries contacted. It would appear at least half (if not more) of the S/SSL's have been contacted.

Also, they are contacting folks out of order. So, while up to 1217 has been contacted, there are roughly 750 others in front of them that haven't heard anything yet. It's going to be a month or two before we hear about P's being contacted for delivery.

Edit: Make it an even 150 reported :)

I don't think it is a safe assumption that everybody on the waiting list is updating an unofficial google doc created by the folks here at TMC. The fact we've got that many reported is AMAZING. That's a lot of people who are that wired in.

Thanks! Just got home. The first website I brought up on the in-car browser was Tesla Motors Club.
I want to go out for another drive right now.

Next thing you'll be doing is going to the garage each night to see if it got its first software update. Glad you're happy with it so far. My Roadster is probably getting a little jealous right now.

So where is the [F&F/R] group in your (official) way of thinking, for future reference? Will they have their own run in the spreadsheet?

R's can go on the spreadsheet. The form has support for them (and P's) in the first drop down. Everyone will go on one sheet and then we can perform analytics to extract insights from what's being reported.

There are ~400 R's in line ahead of general production, so that's only going to delay a week or two, depending on how fast the production rate is by the time they finish the S/SSL list. I would fully expect we start hearing from the R's with delivery windows by the end of October and then P's in November.
