"Gilbert Passin, our VP of manufacturing, and his team have now successfully manufactured our 100th production Model S, of which 74 are for delivery to our first reservation holders..." from Inside Tesla - 08.21.12 | Blog | Tesla Motors

I wonder how many of those are slotted for signature holders?

Are you sure you aren't special?!

If your Roadster wasn't bought used then you'd be a Sig Special. Otherwise, Nigel, and many other Sig Specials on these boards would be expecting delivery before you, yet they haven't heard anything yet.

In that case, I must be a Sig Special ;-) Is there a way to tell for sure (besides asking Tesla)? When I go to the 'My Tesla' page on the Tesla website, it just says "Model S Signature Performance #70" and "Reservation Number RN003244". It also says: "Status: The Tesla Factory is building your Model S Performance." I haven't yet been contacted yet by a Delivery Specialist, but was told "soon".

I don't know because I'm definitely NOT special! But assuming you bought your Roadster from Tesla you'd automatically be a Sig Special, which makes sense given the timeframe they've given you.
