Wiki Model S Delivery Update

Wow! Congrats! Still nothing on this end. Did your DS tell you this or did your My Tesla page change?

My Tesla page updated!

Has anyone heard about tesla bringing back free supercharging? Do us new owners still qualify?

I asked my DS for confirmation, but I can now see in My Tesla page the following, "You can give up to 5 friends unlimited Supercharging and a $1,000 credit toward their new Tesla." Would be silly if my referral code gave 5 people unlimited supercharging but I didn't also have it. :)

Looks like all of us waiting for delivery miss out on free supercharging unless we buy a new one.

Tesla retroactively extends free unlimited Supercharging to all current vehicles

“We heard from our customers that free, unlimited Supercharging was one of their favorite reasons to refer a friend to buy a Tesla, so we’re bringing it back for Model S and Model X owners through our referral program, which we update periodically. Beginning today, existing owners can give free, unlimited Supercharging to up to five friends by sharing their referral code, and all existing Tesla owners who purchase a new Model S or Model X will receive free, unlimited Supercharging too.“

Note: "existing owners"

True, but tesla is also refunding current owners who have paid for supercharging, and bringing back supercharging for free. Makes no sense to have us who are waiting for delivery to pay. Does it? Would be a bad PR move on their part, I'm hoping we all get it free also.

Spoke to my sales rep, free supercharging for the vehicle, next owner gets the equivalent to 500 charges on it, and we will get free supercharging for any other future tesla we buy for life!

Correct. Any current order was grandfathered into this free supercharging for life deal. However anyone unlucky enough to order today best be hunting for a referral code ;)

I have a Model S D90 that has been confirmed. As far as I know no production date has been established.

In reading this thread, I understand some people get their production date through the Delivery Specialist system and other via MyTelsa. My Owner Specialist stated I will received email notifications for many things including Scheduled Production data, Shipment and arrival at the local delivery facility.

Regardless - what I don't know is this - Indeed does a production date show up in the My Tesla system? If yes, where should I be watching?

It won't show a production date, but it will tell you when your vehicle enters production. The text snippet that says something along the lines of "Your vehicle is in the production queue blabla" will change to something like "Your vehicle is currently under production at the factory in Fremont".

Well its been 2 weeks now since production ended. still sitting on my hands waiting for the car to arrive. scheduled appt for May 31st. Anyone else on the east coast seeing a 3 week transit time frame or is it just my dumb luck?
i am over 3 weeks since production completed ... was supposed to take delivery 5/23... just delayed to 5/26 ... losing my mind...;) continuously checking my Telsa like it will make a difference ...
