update from my DS.

Car is still in pre production.
Scheduled for March 26th delivery approx...

Sigh...

Its confirmed us West coast people got shafted to the very end...
Here's crossing my fingers we get all the upgrades and updates as well as not a rushed job with acceptable QoA.

Ordered 2/20
Confirmed 2/23
VIN 2/23
In production today 3/6
Delivery Window 3/21-3/25 according to DS, in Houston TX

75D, Pearl white, Premium white interior, EAP, Standard Wheels

going insanely fast! I can't believe it. I've been watching this forum for months and I've seen how long people have had to wait.. not to mention they told me June delivery when I ordered. I guess I snuck in at the end of the quarter.

you are very lucky, you caught the tail of this production batch. I guess yours, @TX-T3sla, and my cars are siting side by side, being hand made by Elon right now. :D:D

dude, you brought some good luck to me. I am in Dallas, ordered on 2/12, 75D, I just refreshed my account, it is in production too. It was supposed to be in Production on March 12 according to my DS. I don't even bother to ask my DS anymore, he is not very helpful at all.

That's awesome! Looks like they're trying to fill up the Texas orders today. Hopefully, the 3/21 - 3/25 delivery window applies to all of us too.

Houston!!

I should be taking delivery next week *crossing fingers*

emailed by my DS, told my car is out of production (despite my Tesla account showing still in production). Scheduled delivery in Minneapolis for 3rd week of March! Originally ordered 1/26, 75D, PUP, EAP, Sunroof.

Yesssssss!

I experienced the exact situation. I second the response by jslanger, about 4 hours after I spoke with my DS the status changed on my account page. The good news is, at this stage there isn't much value in checking the account page anymore. Give your DS a day or two and then call him or her, their computer link will tell them the projected delivery date.

Where are you in the Badger State? I use to live in Racine.

Originally from NE Wisconsin along the border with the UP, now on the other side of the state in Lacrosse area

So I had a few paint chips in the bumper that needed fix. Appears that Service would need to send out to painter and it may take 7-10 days to re-paint before I can get the car back. Guess that's in line with what can be expected from Tesla at the moment...since its still maturing as a company. Just venting I guess! That's quite some time for repaint job and sucks that I won't be able to drive the car :(

Man, i'm happy to see everyone getting updates about their delivery dates.....except that folks who ordered after me are looking like will get their car before I will, and I'm up the freeway form the factory, lol.

I've been very laid back with my DS, but my car has been stuck on "schedule for production" for over a month now.

I still have to upload my proof of insurance, but i don't want to start the policy until i know when i'm taking delivery so that i'm not paying out of pocket for a car that i don't even own yet.

@DMack, I was faced with the same issue and my DS said uploading the proof of insurance was a required step. I told the insurance company to have my policy effective 15-Mar. My delivery date is slated for 20-Mar at the Fremont Delivery Center. Figured having insurance coverage a few days before the target date would be a good idea in case delivery occurs sooner than planned. If there are significant deviations in timing, I can always change the effective date of my insurance policy, though I don't think it will make a material change to my premium payment for the month if I change the date.

My DS told me I only needed to show I had current insurance and the OA uploaded a copy of my current policy.

So what happened, I wouldn't we would have much kicked up on the roads here locally.:( Do you think it's time for the Xpel on the front of the car?

My car has been in production for 8 days. Should I be worried?

Nah. It might actually be done, but as far as I can tell, your Delivery Specialist has to change the status for the website to show a change. Mine took 5-6 days in production and was quickly shipped out. When my DS called to tell me it was done in production and shipping, an hour later the website status changed.

My DS & I came across those during the walk through while I was taking the delivery of the car. They gave me an option to not take delivery and they fix it before they gave it to me or get it fixed via service. Since I was there already, I took the delivery and am now just getting around to taking it for Service later this week.
