Hi everyone, I received an email that my car went into production today, which is about a week earlier than quoted by my DS!
1/31/16 - Order Date
2/08/16 - Confirmed
2/24/16 - Entered Production
My initial date for delivery was quoted as March - Early April, and my DS indicated I would go into build during the first week of March. Looks like it happened about a week earlier than anticipated, so I am hopeful that the car will be ready for pickup closer to mid-March. MyTesla account now reflects delivery as "First Available" as of the update today.

Got my 'in production' e-mail today too. Yipee! I'm very grateful for this thread. Seems I have to hunt down my DS for an update. This forum and the spreadsheet provided me much needed reassurance that my car is coming. 
Got the call today! My Tesla is ready for delivery on Monday, but work conflicts prohibit me from picking up the car until Tuesday. My details:
12/22/15: ordered
12/24/15: confirmed, VIN assigned
2/3/16: production started
2/16/16: production ended
2/24/16: received by Milford Service Center:
2/28/16: available for pickup
3/1/16: delivered
My original delivery window was "late February -- early March" which narrowed to "February 25, 2016 - March 3, 2016" after it got out of production. Pretty accurate.
One interesting thing, when I was offered times for pickup they were in one hour increments (e.g., Tuesday at 1:00, or 2:00 etc.).

My DS told me that when your car is in Queue, then work orders and PO's are issued for various sub assemblies such as the battery, motors, seats, dash, roof and metal components.
When the status changes from In Queue to In Production then those sub assemblies are in place near the work cells and the skateboard has started its progress on the line.

Hi. Thought I'd add my car to those posting their timing. Just heard today that it "entered production". Ordered on 1/29/16, confirmed on 2/6/16. Delivery estimate has jumped around since then (although now there is no delivery estimate showing anymore).
My baby: S90D, Midnight Silver, Tan next gens, carbon fiber, black headliner, pano roof, standard 19" wheels, auto pilot, air suspension, winter, sound upgrade, premium interior.
I've spent too many hours browsing this forum. I need to go out and get some fresh air! Sold my Targa 4S and Audi S4 to get this. Can't wait!

In production. Confirmed 2/13 and VIN a few hours later on 2/14. Got the email at 2am.
Whats interesting is I had expected to go into production today based on some of the threads here from TMC and the timing seemed to be about 14 days from confirmation. Can't believe it actually went to production right on time though!
