My first two came in before schedule. The current build scheduled for late May-June delivery. Went into production yesterday. Since I am So Cal delivery should be no later than 2nd week in June. So pretty on target. Of course it is the end of a quarter.

My MS 75D in production...finally!!! But, taking delivery in Atlanta, and my DS tells me 20 days transit once it is finished. That may be the hardest wait...delivery window is still late June - July.

Taking delivery in Atlanta as well for my P90D. Duma2, has been in transit for 2 weeks. I think they shipped her through the Panama Canal just to prolong my angst! And as timing would have it.... when my ship does come in...we will be at the airport, literally! Headed to California next week. Oh the humanity! Hang in there Hookemhorns.

Definitely a pentalobe. I'm really surprised the Gator Grip didn't work. I wouldn't know where to begin to look for a pentalobe socket.

That, and it's male so, I couldn't find the right tool or anything that looked like that on the interwebs. And I find EVERYTHING on there. Just bend and snap that thing off!

i would probably try gator grip as well. If it does not budge, I will clamp it down with a vise grip plier.

I had a gator grip at the ready, just didn't need it. (Funny, auto correct changed "gator grip" to "hair gel". Which I'm sure wouldn't work)

And not standard Torx but Torx Plus series.

No. That is not Torx. It is 5 spokes. Impossible to find a socket that will fit it.

Strange, it almost looks like a hybrid - maybe something like a 5-point Torx Plus. I can't imagine Tesla would go to all that trouble for a license plate holder bolt.

Tonight is a sleepless night. Tomorrow is the big day to pick up my baby. 1381xx. Ordered 3/28, confirmed 4/9, have no idea when it went to production cause it never showed online. I called my DS and she was just about to call me and say my baby was in transit. Already to pick her up.

Set up my delivery date for 6/6/16 at Fremont. Loooooong 10 days ahead but well worth the wait. Financed 1/2 of it through Alliant-really easy process at 1.49%

You're right. It's not Torx Plus and it's also not Pentalobe. It's like a 5 pointed Torx Plus. Crap.

That's odd because I'm also in TX and I'm 4 days before you and my DS keeps telling me I'll be in production by next week. Perhaps the schedule has changed?

Depends on the parameters they use for batching the production line I guess. I'm anxious to get my car like everyone else, but enjoying following other's progress. I know we're going to love our cars!
