Wiki Model S Delivery Update

I'm very curious to see what mine comes with. Ordered 7/10. Conf 7/13. Started production 8/17. Ended production 9/4. Shipped 9/7 pickup is tentative 9/12
Absolutely the worst experience I've had when buying a car. But I'm sure car will make up for it.

Did you check the option codes? I'm wondering since air suspension is now technically "standard" does the option code reflect that? Before the option code for coils was SU00 (standard). I'm wondering if SU00 now represents SAS or if it's still SU01(like how it has been in the past) even after the announcement of it being standard.

I still have no changes on my Tesla account from "Late September to October" even though I'm supposedly 2.5 weeks away from taking delivery... a bit skeptical of this process. Some have indicated that the delivery specialist is responsible for updating the status. I'm hoping that the people I'm talking to at Tesla who asked to schedule delivery have more insight into production start/finish times and delivery times than what I'm privy to.

Mine shows the same. Ordered mine on 8/30. I got everything done. I ordered with delivery near LAX. Was expecting 6 week delivery. When I heard there was a chance to get it by 9/30 (with .99% financing) I said I would fly to San Jose to increase my odds which they then changed my DS to a person in Fremont. But they never updated My Tesla page. I told the DS and she said no worries because her computer says my pickup location is in Fremont and my financing has been approved (still not on my Tesla). She then said let me try something (like update) and that caused my Tesla page to change pickup location. Anyway, she says do not rely on my Tesla page and wait for the email's that will tell me when it enters production and also when complete and I would be called for an appointment for pickup. She seemed pretty casual about My Tesla not updating. I also do not see either APH2 or APH3 or any codes for that matter.

Well boys I may not own a tesla after all. I just got off the phone with the manager and none of my problems were resolved, but increased. With no paperwork sent to me and nothing prepared for my delivery I asked to have it sent and have the promotional .99%. Not only did my rate go for 1.49, they want 3.49% and are not accepting the original terms. So I'm going to call him back now that I spoke with my dads gf(she's an attorney so I ask for advise) and she said refuse it and demand money or receive it with the terms that was originally agreed upon. Which doesn't sound like will happen.

Sorry to hear about your issues. While I may not be experiencing the level of issues you are, I for sure am having my set of problems as well. It can be really frustrating. I hope everything works out here for you.

Are you sure the bottom of the loan offer did not include the following. If so, you may want to show it to the Lawyer for review. I had to agree to the following to finalize my loan. BUT, I am with you that they should make it based on your loan approval and not on your taking delivery which is based on their time table.

Here is what mine shows"
*Note: Loan offers are valid for 30 days and rate is valid for deliveries prior to 10/1.

I see a lot of folks trying to lock down the 0.99% rate because it's suppose to end by end of September, but if you go to Design Studio, they are still offering it up for current designs for November delivery. Why would your rate go up when they are still offering it now? Is the 0.99% rate shown in Design Studio just a tease and you actually get a different rate when you apply?

I took delivery last Thursday and when I ordered the rate was 1.49%. During my two month wait for the car they dropped the rate to .99%. I emailed Tesla financing to make sure I was getting the new rate and they emailed me right back and said absolutely. In the email they included the new loan numbers with the .99%. It was seemless. Why on earth would they be trying to raise the rate on you? Did your credit take a hit recently?

WOW! Are we missing something here. Call Alliant. .99% through September. Approval same day.

It is fairly misleading. The approval is good for 30 days, and the loan doesn't originate till you sign and take delivery. So if you aren't getting you car until November there is no way to get the promo rate unless they extend it.
