Did anyone ever track the status of their "My Tesla" page after an order? Did it ever update? Mine has said 2/4 tasks complete since I ordered on 9/30. I actually completed financing and everything the day I ordered. In fact I already got the bill from the bank for my first car payment! The tasks remaining are registration and delivery. I called the delivery specialist and he told me the website never updates and I should be good, but other than that call I've heard nothing. Not looking forward to making a car payment for a car I don't even have yet.

My page didn’t update until the day before delivery.
I did not have the car payment issue. I didn’t sign any agreement until I took possession of the vehicle.
Mine did not update for several days until I messaged my DS and asked him about it. He did something on the Tesla end and it was fixed.
Think this is the reason we are seeing a 3+ month lag from Order to Delivery?

Ordered the car September 30th (found one with the color ext/int I wanted before it left the factory for a Tesla store and snagged it). By getting it ordered before it got to a store I save the transfer fee
It arrived this past Tuesday and we took delivery Friday morning. Turned around and took a planned road trip to San Antonio on Saturday and back to DFW on Sunday. So far, a am beyond happy.

Cool! We're picking up our new car and doing the factory tour then driving it back to DFW as well. We're excited!
I picked up my car last night. I was very concerned about quality because of many of the posts here about problems on delivery. This is my second Model S, and it is as perfect as the first. No problems with scratches, dings, dirt, poorly crafted seats - nothing. The car is flawless and has the new cream interior. So, take heart all of you stuck in the long wait as I was. Your car will be wonderful! No need to worry.
My car was assembled just before all the layoffs hit the news. So, if rumors about assembly line folks are true, it was put together but a bunch of people who were so bad at their jobs they were fired. The car is still perfect. I am pleased and grateful.

Orders Custom 100D on 9/11. I was told it would arrive by end of Oct. or beginning of November. Now I am being told production will not even begin until November 13.

take this as a positive sign... maybe there is a good reason to align with the semi event why they are waiting to produce vehicles then...

Ordered my 100D Oct 15. VIN 228015 has been assigned and website is stating late Nov/Early Dec delivery.
