Mine has been very proactive and contacts me even before my Tesla account updates. I have only had to email him once to clarify a payment question.
Very nice. Makes me wonder about the wisdom of opting for the factory delivery.

That said - factory delivery really adds something special and intangible to the whole experience. I carted my whole family to Germany to pick up my last car; being able to connect your assembly line tour and your delivery together on the same day makes it that much more special. If I could have had certainty with dates, I may very well have done the same. So, hopefully you'll find that the wait will be worth it.

I decided early on avoid the delivery/tour this weekend because of the Memorial Day holiday. Truth be told, I would have been fine with a mid-June delivery because I’m going to be in S.F. then and I could have saved a plane trip.

Weird, I was planning on doing the ACH transfer 48 hrs beforehand, I've heard that's recommended. Who is your DS by the way? My guy's name is Jeff
My DS told me the the following:
“You are able to make an ACH transaction ( electronic check) through your Tesla account up to 24 hours before hand or we accept cashier’s checks during your appointment with us.”
I hope this is true since my loan docs haven’t arrived yet and she has entered a request for them to be produced ASAP.

I'm just concerned about my delivery being on a Saturday, I'd like to get the transfer started Thursday of this week so it has a business day to clear.
Could you get a cashiers check instead? I’m doing ACH because my bank is in L. A., 100 miles away. If my situation gets too tight I’ll have them overnight a check to me.

Mine popped up a week ago but I was told they needed 7 days to process the ACH. I confirmed I could just bring a cashiers check with me to delivery. That might be your best bet.
I got all my paperwork on Saturday, signed everything and made the payment. They then took the money on monday, So i think they say 7 days but can get it done sooner. I was wondering how long after you have given them a fair bit on money did they actually give you the car. The purchase agreement said on or around 22nd which was today. Anyone sign their agreement yet and notice if it had a date on it?
