So far as I can tell, the spreadsheet only shows recent 2018 data, 149 entries. But I'm not a Google Sheet user. What about 2014 - can I see the vin ranges from that period ?

edit. i did find the approx prod date of the car i was looking at - feb 2014. still an interesting question, where is the old data?

It shows only 2018 data mainly because nobody is entering anything for 2019. This can imply soft interest for ordering.

I'm really curious as to the stats on this. What is the on time delivery rate? Not that I expect anyone to have an exact number. My delivery scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled and rescheduling is not possible yet as the car has not arrived at the service center yet and they do not know when it will. Manufacture completed 5 weeks ago and I'm on the East Coast in MD. My first S in 2015 was similarly delayed but only one postponement. I have read enough stories here of repeated delays to really just wonder. My concern is actually the possibility of having my credit pulled again if not delivered right when I return to the country in a couple of weeks as that day is the expiration of my 30 days.

It took me a weeks to get mine. P90DL it was great shape. Love it

I placed my deposit a little after midnight on the start of March 21. Sales advisor called yesterday around noon (Central Time) and apologized for not getting to me sooner. He was first confused and said the car was not in San Diego, but somewhere on the southwest. Then he corrected himself and said the car was in San Diego. I told him I want to pick up the car in San Diego and drive it to Dallas. Everything on my end is complete. Just waiting for the MVPA so the credit union can ACH the money. Got a call tonight from the SA and as I was answering it, it dropped! My luck! Tried to call back over 20 times and of course, calls went straight to voice mail. Of course, his mailbox is full! Sent several emails today, without any response. Trying to follow the advice of many of you in this post.... "BE PATIENT! IT WILL BE WORTH THE WAIT". I am trying very hard.

UPDATE 3/27/19: Today a delivery person emailed me indicating he had placed a request to move the car from a warehouse to the San Diego Delivery center. Later got a chance to talk to him on the phone, very nice, looks like he will be able to get things moving. Hoping to have the MVPA tomorrow. The joys of waiting!

I had to wait almost 3 months for my Model S last year. The wait is totally worth it. Make sure all software updates have been installed when you take delivery; autopilot is awesome.

Hi - just wanted to post about and get advice about our ongoing delivery ordeal.

We returned our 2016 Model S last month when the lease ended, and ordered a new inventory Model S 100D on March 16th when the prices dipped down. Our sales advisor got in touch and let us know that it would be ready for pickup on March 25th. But two major problems since then:

1) One thing we paid attention to when ordering the inventory car was mileage, as some inventory cars were listed as having 100's of miles. The minimum listed was always '50' and we were careful to order one that only had the 50 miles, so that it would genuinely be new. However, when talking to the delivery specialist, she said it was actually 104 miles, and when I asked how that could have happened, she didn't know. And then when we got the MVPA, it showed 220 miles! Very different from what we ordered!

2) Tesla has broken multiple appointments that they made for delivery throwing the rest of our work/life schedule into disarray.. The original 3/25 date came and went with little info on status, and we made an appt on 3/27, for which, again, they didn't even let us know the car hadn't arrived until we were able to reach them by phone. They then made an appt for 3/29, by which the car would definitely be ready, and again, it hadn't even arrived, but they assured us it would be ready for today, 3/30, and we scrambled to make sure we'd be ready. But, again, received a call this morning that the car is still not there, and they'll let us know status Mon morning. In the meantime, we've had to borrow cars and schedule everything around this.

We were actually really happy with Tesla until now (hence ordering the second car!), but this has soured us. Does Tesla ever do anything to make things right with the customer in these situations (discount, added feature, etc.), or do we just have to take or leave it?

I just watched a video about a couple’s similar horror story with last minute cancellations and rescheduled deliveries. The delivery center gave them a free wall charger.

Who can add the car to the app. When I log into my account on tesla.com the car is there, but not on the mobile app.

Ralph
As I recall, I entered my email and password on the app early on, but the car didn’t show up until shortly before I took delivery. My guess is that someone behind the scenes links the car (possibly by VIN) to your Tesla account. I would just keep logging in to the app to see if your car has been linked.
