Tesla Raj's friend got one which is in part of his video from the event if that counts.
And there is Randy...hope the other 21 are not tearing their cars apart like he did...

Raven is PM in the front, AC induction in the back
Was going to say this, AWD 3/Y are all still PM in the back and induction in the front. these new Plaid and LR Model S are the first Tesla’s with both front and rear wheels powered by PM motors.Raven is PM in the front, AC induction in the back
Well, they were doing that before for several years, so it’s not a question of can they since they’ve already proven they can. The only question is how long to ramp up to full production and how will supply constraints impact their production schedules. How does everyone feel about the 1000 cars each week next quarter statement made at the event? That's 142 cars a day assuming they're working 7 days a week. 6 cars an hour if the factory runs 24 hours a day.
So 1 car every 10 minutes? I don't know.... sounds like a lot if Fremont is the only place pumping these out.
LR OctoberThat would be me, LR, before Christmas, but then I wouldn't be have all of this fun reading here if I had the car.
As an MS owner since 2013, it's NEMA 14-50 any day of the week, and twice on Sundays. A no-brainer in my book, assuming you or your electrician is at least mildly competent. What do you guys recommend for home charging - nema or wall connector?
Probably carryover motors from the Raven, but with the upgraded CV drive shafts from the TSB (to avoid the clunking and knocking sounds that show up after a few thousand miles). This is an interesting question. The plaid lists as a feature the carbon sleeve rotors but is silent on the motors for the LR. I don't think the LR would see a unused motor sitting there but was a little surprised to see the dual rear motors sharing a housing. What will the motors in the LR be?
That's because your P100D was a pre-Raven model . . . .There was nothing like this on my P100D. I was able to adjust ride height.
that sentence caught my eye too. tells me they really addressed the cooling concerns.Race car driver & Tesla consultant, Randy Pobst behind the (round - not yoke) wheel, lol! . Btw - read an article that said Randy Pobst came in for a pit stop when the Plaid was @ 30% battery and he said the car felt just as strong then as when he first started at 100%. That’s telling!
I'd love to hear your comments on ride and feel for full FIRM/SPORT . I'm hopeful its first gen PD suspension firm/sporty.One more thing--there is this screen under Suspension--not sure if this is new to LR/Plaid or this was in prior versions of the S. TBH, I have just left this in Auto for now.

I was waiting for this post............. You can see this coming a mile away.I have in writing that they are going to provide me with full self driving “later this year,” but obviously there is zero chance of that. It would be an amusing lawsuit with Tesla arguing (correctly, perhaps) that they aren’t liable because nobody would take what they say seriously.
No heads up here. No warning. I just got dumb lucky to switch prior to the price increase.I switch to Plaid after cancellation of the Plaid+ the day before the price change. My OLA called me and advised to either cancel or switch that day. Not sure he was giving any heads up but the timing is obvious.

Similar story here, ordered MS LR (MSM, Black, Arachnid, no FSD) in February, first Tesla after only having driven BMW & Audi so far.First Post!
Ordered a MS LR (black/black, 21", FSD) as my first Tesla on Jan. 28th from Germany. Even cancelled my MY preorder for that.
For data and search purposes: I've had a September delivery window up until a few days ago, now the deliver info is gone in my order info.
In general I'm really hyped and excited for the MS. I'm coming from a strict BMW / Mercedes background and I'm really bummed by how bad their e-mobility stuff is. Also, thanks to everyone for posting so much wonderful information!
OMG
That was crawling. Those were "Supercars"???
Now going back and watching the "lap time" Tesla set at Laguna is a heck of a flying lap!!
The description says its a Plaid powertrain. The video is from 2019 so obviously it wouldn't have the new interior. How much the powertrain has changed since the R&D version in 2019 is anyones guess. So, uh, this is not a Plaid. The vertical screen and interior design makes it the outgoing model S.
