"Just got my new Plaid. I don't see what people are talking about with the panel alignment. Everything looks good to me."

My delivery appointment is in 3 hours. So excited!! Thank you all for providing community and entertainment during the Long Wait.

Update: They attempted to move the delivery back 2 days as I was calling my uber to go over to the dealership. They said they need a paint specialist to fix "sand marks" on the car. I told them I just want the car and they can fix those at a later appointment. They agreed to compromise and do a delivery in the late afternoon today. As further context, I purchased one of the cars that came up randomly in Tesla's inventory a week or so ago, after seeing someone post about it on this forum. My original order from 2/5 was dropped for this one, which has a similar configuration (Plaid / Black / Cream / CF / 21). However, this one's VIN is in the "430" range so it's likely (?) one of the cars that was sitting in the lot. I will find out later, hopefully.

I did my morning refresh of the Tesla site and my EDD was moved up to EOQ from October: September 19-30. I guess this isn't a big surprise since I am in California.

Are EOQ push cars really as bad QC wise as advertised? I guess I'll see because unless something is falling off the car at delivery, I'll take it and suffer through as many service visits as necessary to fix everything.

Now I have to move money around so I have enough cash in the main account to close the deal. Hopefully, this isn't more Tesla EDD shenanigans because now that I have an EDD of a few weeks, it's getting more real. I didn't think I could be more obsessed but now I am like a kid a week from Christmas.

Good luck everyone especially those that ordered earlier.

LR, MSM black, 19" wheels, no FSD, ordered May 1 from mall store, RN1148

I noticed the same thing where I live. Car experts on the radio suggesting all other brands except Tesla. Car press praising the new MachE with no nodge to the Y. Radio bashing EV cars one morning only to praise the new Chevy Bolt the next.

This is happening everywhere. This is what marketing money will do. Bash Tesla, praise whoever pays your bills. Journalistic integrity went awol a long time ago.
Owners know how awesome the cars are and 3 out of 4 Tesla's are the most satisfying cars on the road according to Consumer Reports.
In the customer satisfaction section, the Model S has been in the number 1 spot for years.
The percentage of owners who said they would 'definitely purchase the same car again' is 89%. And this is from 2021 pre-refresh Model S owners.
Number 2 on the list is the Audi A8: 75% said they would definitely purchase again.
Number 3 goes to the Genesis G90 with 68%.

The S with 89%, Model 3 91%, and Model Y 89% are all in the top spot. The X has 82% behind the top spot Aviator with 84%

I saw my first Plaid with white interior and walnut availble in Denver and before I could buy it it was sold. So they are making white interiors.
I heard a week ago, that "several" white interior S's have been delivered through the Tysons VA center over the past couple weeks, but I was unable to confirm that they werent cream. But Im inclined to believe that may have been accurate intel

@lolachampcar Here ya go!

:)
Thank You!

Just got confirmation that my car that was delivered with 19” summer tires was delivered with the wrong tires and that Tesla will be replacing them with AS. Super psyched!

To anyone who has taken delivery, are the vents able to actually direct airflow? So does the air actually blow where you set it according to the screen? Just curious as I'd imagine the "invisible" vents limit this in ways.
Yes they do and the system works including splitting the streams into two just like on MY.
