We now probably do not need to log into Tesla.com to see when the VIN is issued and in fact when EDD changes. Within the past week I have noticed that my EDD is now on my App. Much easier to refresh the App and indeed any time anywhere.

I do not have my car yet, so I can not verify the severity of this complaint that I read on NTSHA.gov, but it does seem to be an interesting scenario and concern with respect to the horn button.... BTW, It's not slowing me down in my desire to get a VIN.

Dang it! I was so close to the Nov 5th start of my EDD. I too see a push back on my EDD by one month again this morning! UGH! Now, I'm out to Nov 23- Dec 21. Just sucks to be me this morning.

And now with zero surprise I discovered today, that after waiting 13+ months and counting so far, my delivery has been pushed back again. It's now saying Estimated Delivery: November 15 - December 12.
The window is still a whole month long so I assume this will not actually happen either.

Looks like there is a split now for the first 3 digits. Unless i missed this already happening.

Tesla doesn't save up modifications to put into a new model year of a vehicle like traditional carmakers do. Tesla constantly makes little changes here and there to their cars. Literally every month there are small hardware or structural changes, most unpublicized. The model year is meaningless in terms of categorizing features.
There's likely to be zero functional difference between the last 2021 car and the first 2022 car, but significant differences between the first 2022 car and the last 2022 car. Just like every year.

My RN is 115145***, ordered on 06/14/2021 MSLR blue/cream/wood/21”/ FSD. I see people outside of California have started to get delivery of orders with 1152 onwards but my delivery date still says Nov 11-Dec1. Anyone else in the same boat? Misery likes company you know :/

Rather like Tesla, Google staggers Android updates. I do have Android 12 but also the Pixel phone which tends to get Android updates first. That said I'm on build #SP1A210812.015. I’m RN 1150 ordered on May 26 MSLR W/B/19 NO Fsd , and I’ve been sitting on dec 10-30 for 5 weeks now.
Interesting. What is the purpose of changing it like this, when there already exists a digit for the model?
