How do you plug in a radar detector in the Plaid? I can’t find a cigarette plug?
There is one in the far forward compartment of the center console. Sort of hidden next to a USB C port.

Date narrowed to four days was Dec 26-31. Now Dec 28-31, Still no vin.

I will be following what happens with you as I am in exactly the same boat. Dec 28-31. In my case I was contacted to verify if I was really paying cash or to renew my financing on Monday. No VIN though! - I FREAKING SPOKE TOO SOON- I WAS MOVED FROM 12/28-12/31 to 12/31-1/14 in the last few minutes.

I would suggest not switching to financing until it is actually in transit.
 
I messaged back a few times asking to switch to financing and never heard back. It’s ready for delivery yet they won’t even respond.
I had the same issue. I had a voicemail I saved from months back with this number: 510-249-3100. I called and the rep was able to make the change right then.

Edit: It’s not an SA’s cell number. It’s an actual number to call Tesla. I couldn’t find it on the website so I had to dig through my saved voicemails.
 
Is it confirmed S line is closing down at End-Of-Day (EOD) today for 1-2 weeks? Thought I saw that posted here somewhere? But couldn’t find it in any search.

Wonder how many days of supply they will have prior to restart. I see only 3 red Plaids within 200 miles. Seem to recall a site that showed all domestic inventory. Anyone have the link?
 
And the hits keep on coming...

I now have the HVAC cooing sound. I really don't think it was there yesterday. And the left button panel on the yoke is making a static sound. Going to fire off a service request with the list of issues I guess. Are these still unresolved or are people getting things fixed?
I'll give you my total in one list.

Problems found and their status:
1. Rear seat tear in upholstery - replaced one week later
2. Yoke upholstery coming undone - replaced yoke 2 months later
3. Windshield had apparent impact point that no one could identify the cause of - replaced windshield
4. While replacing the windshield they broke my passenger door handle/tore the front passenger seat upholstery - they replaced the door handle on sight, new seat is on order
5. Damaged paint from poor paint job (on delivery) - I'm currently awaiting scheduling, but they've been great

None of these repairs cost me a dime, and every time they've either paid for my uber home (short term) or put me in a loaner tesla while mine was getting worked.

If this is true then the new taillights are likely to be on those cars when the line restarts. I've heard that they usually made modifications around Xmas time.

Just got notice to schedule my pick up appointment between 26-29th. I selected the 29th as it is the best day as far as weather here (PacNW).

So fingers crossed my MSLR will be blessed by the QC gods, have the A/S tires on it and no paint issues. Then all I have to be disappointed about is that the cars delivered the following week will have all the new lights. LOL.
