Similar thing happened to me. From 03/07-03/20 moved to 03/10-03/20. Also located in Bay Area. Still waiting for the VIN. What is your configuration of the MSLR?

Ben must be on the site. While it was nice to see him with the updated car, I was annoyed that someone was taking a video of him when he was with his kid. Terrible.

I’m sure he has googled a thing or two about his plaid and then google bombarded his feed with all news Tesla, new lights being one of the news.

Hey guys, first time posting here. Here's an interesting story:

I took delivery of my Plaid on Saturday afternoon.

On Monday afternoon, I parked my car at a restaurant to run in and grab some food. When I left 3 minutes later, the car wouldn't start. Was throwing a bunch of error codes very similar to this: Brand New Tesla Model S Plaid Breaks Down: Report

Was expecting an issue similar to what the guy in the article had but I just got a message from Tesla service saying they have to replace the drive unit. No timeframe on how long it will take.

So ya, not super thrilled.

I drove the car hard but I have to imagine not any harder than most people who drive this car for the first time.

Not sure what to think now.

My EDD was Mar 8 - Mar 22, but today it was bumped to Mar 12 - Mar 22. I am in the bay area and just got a call from Tesla asking about trade-in. I wonder whether this means I will get a VIN matched soon? Moreover, for an LR, I think I should be safe to receive a refreshed refresh?

I received a text today about my trade too. I refused a delivery last month and Tesla wanted my current odometer reading. I hope they don’t drop my trade value.

I dunno, but my order was Dec 2020, kept getting punted after punted. No one cared I called repeatedly. Finally one of the SA’s reset my order to cash only, got a VIN assigned in three days.

Headlight debate…. First night drive. Lights are good but did not notice much of a difference from my BMW. Auto high beams worked very well (they suck on our M3P). My drive was in the country mostly fields, no street lighting.
