Wiki Model S Delivery Update

I picked up my MS LR White/Black this morning. This is my second vin and it is 480NF. Surprisingly, the quality of the vehicle is very good. No noticeable gaps in panels. Frunk and trunc alignments are good. Bottom side panels seem to be off. Took SC appointment to realign them. Interior dashboard and side door trims are properly aligned. The door seals are ok. But not coming out or anything . Mfg date is 06/22. So those of you taking before June 30, you don’t have to worry about the EOQ push vehicle syndrome. Will post some pics later in the day. By the way swivel is nice. Found it very useful. Got used to yoke steering pretty quick. Kept the FSD. I ordered the vehicle back in October. Some $ gains are there. Now waiting still continues for Model X. Thank you guys for your help so far.

And of course, floor mats and trunc mats are missing. Was told, they will be delivered in few weeks.

Nope. I have all weather season mats from my previous MS 60D. I have to check whether they fit in.

Nope. I do not understand how they have not sorted this out in nearly a year. Are they counting on half the people just buying their own aftermarket ones and saving money?

We also did not get them and it is pretty irritating.

Car has arrived, few hours l until i get home from work to inspect. I did get a call from Tesla with a personal cell number if i have any questions or issues. Unexpected and nice touch.

I feel like I would ask them to at least give me the paper crap that service techs use before I drive my car home. Maybe i'll bring my Model 3 ones and see if they fit.

Because they are T1. The T2 tires are out. The T1 version has a plug where the Bluetooth beacon goes. The T2 actually has the beacon installed.

Many car companies make you pay for the floor mats. It is nice for Tesla to include them. But many owners end up buying all weather rubber mats anyway. They should consider making the mats optional to cut down waste. I have a few sets still in my garage collecting dust.

There is supposed to be a shield that hides the swivel mechanism. Schedule a service visit to correct that.

Yes, my 477XXX Built 4/25/22came with Swivel and the cover.

I can absolutely believe I can’t believe they didn’t include the cover for the screen swivel. Not sure if they need to remove the whole screen to install that. Crazy…

I did just take a quick look and my cover IS there, it may not be glued/secured though. I have heard some vibration in and around that area but I think it may have been a garage opener I have in the console rattling on a work phone.

Added to the list.

I am currently trying to get Sirius XM to work and have been unsuccessful. I just called them and they supposedly activated it and pinged the car but still no dice. Will check again next time I go out and call back if needed.
