Wiki Model S Delivery Update

Just picked up my 2023 Model S LR and drove it home from Seattle to Bellevue. It was dark and rainy so I could not see much during the pickup process but overall the car looked like it was in good shape.

So the car does have the Ultra-sonic sensors in the bumper, but how do I tell whether they are actually behind those circles and not just dummy inserts? Another thing is the date of Manufacture was 11/22 based on the drivers side sticker on the doorjam and I just picked it up today. Can it be that they shipped up from Fremont to Seattle within a day?

yeah, here are pictures of the differences on the 3 I found on Reddit. You can see the rings on the plastic piece around the lens are clearly new. Unfortunately it looks like Tesla is using a different repeater on the S, which may not be new at all. The 2023 S picture I can’t see any rings, but I can’t see any of the text markings that exist on both the 2022 and 2023 Model 3 either. Can someone with a 2022 S get a closeup of their current repeater?

Here is the right camera. How can I tell if its the updated one?

I presume this is just a lighting/camera issue that the repeater looks chrome, right? As the repeaters on the refresh cars are supposed to be fully black. I know I have seen pictures of black under bright lights that looked chrome due to camera issues.

Bummer. When did you order? I ordered in June 22 RF1173. My current date is 3-Dec to 31-Dec. It had been 30-Nov to 21 Dec. I'm waiting for the move to next year. The middle of the country doesn't get much love.

Times have changed. In June, my expected delivery was Feb-Apr 23. Best of luck. I hope thye pull it back to Decmebr for you!

I ordered my Plaid at the end of September and it gets delivered tomorrow. Slightly less than 2 months.

Question. There is a MSLR in the inventory that I would buy, but it was built on 11/11/22 and has 16 miles. Damaged in transit and repaired?
