Mobile tech came to my house and replaced my driver door handle and reprogrammed it in the MC for my 2016 MS90D after it failed to present. Free of charge since i had warranty coverage. Good luck.

The paddle gear is very inexpensive. IIRC, like a dollar and a half. (I bought 2 when I needed 1.) But if you pay Tesla to replace the handle, more in the range of $500. I don't know if they bother with repairing them; if they do then labor will probably still be a couple hundred at least.

Mine was $140 out of warranty for a failed paddle gear. This was about 2 years ago.
