Model s doors popping open when approach

hi guys my model s is out of warranty and my doors are popping open as I approach the car. They say if they need to replace door handles 700 each. Who thinks this is fair? I pay 100k for a car and 6 years later I have to pay for new door handles? Hopefully something they can fix? Please help anybody go through this before?
