Model S entered Jack Mode automatically?!?

My wife put our Model S (one month old) into park and it automatically entered Jack Mode today before she exited the car. We have the new v8 firmware. Flat parking lot. Very strange.

That is bizarre...call within 24hrs and they can pull the logs.

Have you done full resets on both computers? Good idea to do that after any update.

My very new Model S went into Jack Mode when a heavy person sat down in the passenger seat. I'm still on 7.1 firmware.

Yes, we reported it that evening. And she's quite petite @LastGas lol

Mine just did it today... had been parked for several hours, summoned, got in and jack mode. Odd.

My X did that a few weeks after I got it, June of last year. The issue hasn't repeated since.

If you're seeing this repeatedly (red air suspension icon), it doesn't mean the car is in jack mode, it means that the suspension is unable to self-level. This indicates an air suspension system malfunction. Have service look at the car.

This is correct. Usually it is a leak in one of the lines from the pump.

This was on my list of items to check at the Service Center yesterday. They said it was a firmware problem and it was being worked on.
