there's definitely a difference in the front driver fender (darker) and the 2 doors. I didn't pay attention to what part OP said had the shade difference, and I picked up on the body panel paint difference in 1 second glance. I see why OP didn't mention body damage repair in the original thread starter

Same here, sadly. I have two black eyes on my car now.. But wouldn't those be a warranty item at this point in the cars life and not an issue for lease return?

Nope, where I'm at it's considered a "safety" issue for selling/registration, however, some Service Centers may elect to turn a blind eye to it.
