I just get the Model S Doorsill Plates from Tesla (LED lights) and I would like to know if somebody already installed them.

somebody already installed them?
The official Tesla Shop in Europe has the install instructions on their website, which must be the same instructions that came in the box. They are not the most clear instructions, but if you've ever built an IKEA furniture you can tackle the job!

Can you share the part number please.

They currently seem to be only available on some countries in Europe, but after searching all official European Tesla Shop websites, I was able to determine in the site's source code that the part number is: 1537258-00-A for all countries that have them for sale, so I guess it will be the same part number for North America as well.

They look familiar to an aftermarket set here in USA.

I feel the aftermarket sets have the advantage of plugging in directly to the footrest LED light bulb, which automatically turns on when you open the door.

The Tesla doorsills have a battery and you have to place a magnet on the lower part of the door, in order for the plates to light up when you open the door.

I'm not sure, but I believe these batteries don't seem to be replaceable (please correct me if I'm wrong @PatrickCH4313), and even if they were, you would have a hard time removing the already installed plates, which usually break during removal due to the adhesive used to fix them in place.

This is correct.

Tesla Offer, Or EVOffers is plug & play to the footwell lights. Easy install & $100 cheaper than OEM battery operated. Ship from Hong Kong, took about a week. Here’s a couple pictures of mine, just installed last night (Oct 2021). Quality LED bright light as well, add’s to interior lighting.

Used? I destroyed mine removing them and had bought a new set to mod/murder. I’d recommend them to the blackout crowd.

I’m not a carbon fiber fan but must admit these might look cool with one long thin illuminated wire line. If someone goes that route, please post a photo.
