Model S lower trunk hinge

So I tried searching but couldn’t find anything. Has anyone seen/tried installing some hinges to the lower trunk cover?

You want to hings the lower trunk footwell area? There are built-in hinges for teh third row seats hidden behind the carpet you can use that are made to hinge the seat into that area so it should be easy. Look up installation instructions for the 3rd row retrofit and add hinges to the cover the same way.

The lower trunk lid actually can be handled in such a way that it can sit flat on the bottom of the lower trunk, enabling you to have larger items in there, like a suitcase standing. If you hinge it then make it detatchable...
