Model S max charge rate on CCS/V3 Supercharger

We're thinking about buying a new Model S but can't find the answer to this question -

What is the maximum charge rate for a new Model S (UK) on a CCS V3 Supercharger?

i.e.
The 2020 Model S needs a CCS adapter to use a V3 unit (as the car is not fitted with a CCS socket). Does this mean that charging is limited to approx 142kW?

And therefore a new Model 3 will charge at a faster rate than a new Model S on V3 Superchargers? (Which doesn't seem right given the premium price for the S)

Thanks

Yep, 142kW when using the adapter: Supercharging

What is the peak charge rate I can receive with a CCS Combo 2 adapter?
All Model S and Model X owners can currently receive peak charge rates up to 142kW, roughly on par with the fastest charge rates supported by V2 Supercharging (150kW). We will continue to validate this technology as part of the V3 Supercharger rollout and will provide additional information regarding peak charge rates as it is available.

Hard to believe that a more expensive car with a larger battery can’t charge at the M3 charge rate (even on Superchargers). And just because it hasn’t been updated with a CCS socket. I wonder when Tesla will rectify for their premium car?

Since 2017 the Model S exported to China have a special charge port.

I would be very simple to add a CCS plug using the same body panel modification.

CCS adapter info page says 250kW max but the current reality is indeed different. Some updates to the charging rate are probably coming but no-one knows what and when.
