I'm holding off on my order until the facts are out on this question. Hoping for brown interior as a new choice, and ventilated next gen seats. #brokenrecord

Would love ventilated seats, I always run hot and these are probably a must have for me (if given the option).

I thought that this event was to give the founders their cars?. I think that people are taking the word "event" ans stretching it a bit.

I highly doubt they talk about Model S.

This event is to underscore that Model X is on time based upon Elon's promises for the last year. It's also to reveal the final design and unique features of this car. It would make no sense to discuss Model S at an event centered around the first round of Model X deliveries.

Although remember Elon said that "'model S won't have any major changes for about a year" almost exactly 1 year ago. Do you think that the timing may woke for model S upgrades?

I could see the 60amp charger becoming standard on the S, and maybe they won't offer the dual charger retrofit anymore? That would streamline a lot, kind of an everybody wins scenario.
