Model S owner Survey

It's a bit skewed because I went with the P85 which includes a lot of the options already... so my car had about $9k in options, but the options on my car on a non Performance (or smaller battery) would have been probably $15k+ in options.

Also I haven't convinced anyone to buy a Tesla, yet -- and there's no choice for that.

I made a quick survey to find how much people are really spending on options and other stuff: Cost of your options, View on Tesla
I post results after a couple of people

Um..."how many people havve you convinced to buy a tesla?" [sic] -- zero, but that's not an option in your survey! ;-)

Another problem, there's no $10k-$12k option. It skips from $8-$10 to $12-$14. As luck would have it, I'm between 10 and 12. ;-)

You could consider the Performance as a $15k option package (the difference in price between 85 and 85P)...? I don't know if that's how Clprenz sees it, but with one of the choices being $20k+, and I don't think the Model S has $20k worth of options...?

Sorry about that, I edited it

Thanks! I answered the survey.

I'm not sure I totally understand the second question, so I answered it "No." If you're asking, if they come out with a new Model S and I have to buy a new car? No. If you mean if they offer some upgrades to existing owners? I guess it depends more on what the upgrades are...then I'd consider the price/value...but it's impossible to answer without knowing what, sorry. There'll be software updates (already have been) to add new features, and perhaps a few retrofit/recall type things (supposedly, like lights for vanity mirrors), so I feel like I'm going to be getting upgrades for free, already! ;-)
