I am looking for hardcopy owners manual for my elderly father to read. He is old school and would appreciate a paper book ... Any model S will do - thanks!
There aren't any. I think you just have to print the PDF. You should be able to get a copy of your latest one on the mytesla site since you have one. If not, the manuals page has this: http://www.teslamotors.com/sites/default/files/Model-S-Owners-Manual.pdf
Thanks for the PDF link. I am still looking for a paper manual from a 2012-2014 car - feel free to PM me if you have one available.
I remember renting a Model S in October, 2013 and it came with a bound paper manual. It was a P85, so not sure if manuals were provided across the product line even then. Current models only come with a short quick start manual and the online version. Bound Model S manuals are definitely collector's items.
You can just order him one of Nick Howe's books: Owning Model S, The Book ... I think Nick is doing an updated version soon too. - K
FlatSix911, I think it's great that you're taking your dad on your journey into this technology. All the best.

You're not going to find one. Tesla has never printed a full paper manual. There is the quick start manual that's some very basic info and the warranty and legal disclaimers and that's about it.
The Owning Model S book is great and a lot more friendly read than the owners manual (which is usually outdated too).
Ha ha... spoken with such authority... and so wrong. But now out of date... (uh... would have helped if I had gone to next page of messages :redface
Sorry... was just poking fun... and silly me had not noticed the next page with the response and your mea culpa :redface:. I just see occasional replies to messages from folks that are so strongly stated, but turn out to be wrong.
