Model S Ownership Transfer Process. Email has not been sent to recipient.

Hello everyone, I just bought a used Model S 75 from a vendor and the original owner has offered to help transfer the car to my account. The car has had one account associated with it (original owner) and has not been sold or taken ownership of by a dealer through Tesla (no auction, used inventory). I've been reading up on the forum and found that there is a good chance SC01 is transferrable with the VIN.

I'll add that the previous owner has already done the "Remove Car" process on the website. He got a confirmation with the message "Confirm Removal of Your Car" in his email. I still haven't received one on my end and part of me thinks the original owner may have not clicked the "Remove" button on the email. Could someone with some experience help me out on this process? Does he have to hit the "Remove" button in that email for me to receive an email or is going through the website sufficient in itself?
