I’m the seller who received $40k, and I’m confirming this is an outstanding deal at $46k My 2012 S85 was missing the many awesome options of this fully loaded beauty. If my S had all these options, I likely wouldn’t have sold it. Love the pano roof, kids rear seats, Cyclones, tech package, etc. Given Tesla’s recent surge in their used car pricing, the buyer will be one lucky and happy person

Why were the pano roof and steering column replaced? Those are big items. Just curious
The Steering Column was replaced due to a contact disconnect in the tilt motor.
The Pano roof was replaced due to a miss alignment that caused a creaking noise and roof would get stuck.
Oh, actually, I just remembered, One of the Dual Chargers was replaced too last year, the car was charging at 40 amp instead of 80 amp.

Thank you #2012MS85,
How is your model 3 going along?

Hey just wanted to let you know that I saw your hijacked ad regarding the Tesla and actually thought it was real before I joined this site. I posted about it in the thread "Is this a good buy" regarding another ad I saw that was too good to be true. In any case you can see the response I got from the person.

They gave me this link to pictures of your car https://photos.app.goo.gl/iDw468PlkiYwop9C3

Crazy whats happening.

Your car is great and I hope you sell it.

Thx for the info.
I was not aware of this before, but i see that literally every Tesla posted on any platform, is immediately offered by scammers at lower prices.
I am not sure there is anything that i could do about it, but i do suggest a real talk with seller, you will know right away if it is a scam.
Don't send money to secure a "too good to be true" deal!!!!

Do you have service records for all the work done? I assume there aren't any small issues like noise when driving or engine noise? Something I've heard being the case on the older models.

Does it drive smoothly and cleanly? And just curious how did you get the warranty until 73500? Seems like an odd number to cap the warranty? I normally see 4 year/50k on top of the original 4/year 50k so would be 100k miles cap no?

Car has been serviced under warranty at Tesla Service centers in Orlando and previously in Naples.
I have all service records from last 2+ years.
Warranty is up to 73000 due to CPO warranty of 50000 miles/4 years when car was purchased in January 2016 from Tesla!
