I'm not the seller but take a look at the market value on the Gen 2 wall connectors. Sure you can get a brand new Gen 3 for a little over $500 but if you want the higher charging capability of the Gen 2 which is no longer made this is in the market price of what they sell for since they're no longer produced.

If you don't have a car capable of utilizing the 80A charge rates though then none of this probably means anything to you so it wouldn't be worth the extra money and you're better off just buying a Gen 3 although they're having some issues with them from what I've seen.
