can someone tell me What the premium interior does for model s? Are the Seats with the regular interior already leather so is only the dash and roof upgraded with the upgrade?

I had a loaner the other day with the basic interior. The seats were partial (vegan) leather. The dash didn’t have the alcantara section in the front and the head liner was textile as well. I know some people don’t care, but I thought it all felt too cheap for the price of the car.

None of the cars get the Alcantara on the dash as of Fall of 2017.
