The automaker said 123,000 Model S vehicles built before April 2016 were affected. No injuries or crashes have been reported in connection with the problem. Before today, its largest Model S recall was when 90,000 of the vehicles were affected in 2015 by a faulty seat belt. And last year, it recalled 53,000 Model S and Model Xs over a parking brake fault.
I was affected by the parking brake recall, and it looks like I should be affected by this one. But I haven't seen anything from Tesla yet, and Recalls Look-up by VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) isn't showing anything.

Geesh. The hits just keep coming this week.
Sounds like it may only be the bolts that need to be replaced? Our car is not part of this, but at least its a voluntary recall and cars can still be driven in the meantime.
Of course they fail to mention that Bosch is paying for this so it should have little/no financial impact on Tesla.
NO MATERIAL FINANCIAL IMPACT TO TESLA!!!
Bosch will be covering the cost of this recall. But watch the stock drop anyway. Morons.
Highly unlikely.![]()
