Model S refresh "MI03"

Interesting. Mine was MI01 as well last time I looked. It's now MI03. Not sure if it really means anything, but we'll know soon enough. I hope to take delivery of mine this week (prod start April 18th).

Hmm, mine did not change (delivery on may, 11th). However, I am now able to change MI01 into MI03 in the design-view URL. that didn't work a few weeks ago (returned empty response), now it generates a PDF that is identical to MI01.

So whatever the change is, it doesn't look like it has anything to do with a changed design somewhere.

I can't help answer the question in whats changed but I notice this site shows what they call Facelift2 and Facelift3 cars which from a cursory look seems to match the MI02 and MI03 codes on new cars. But other than some 2018 cards having it and others not, I can't see a difference. I'm guessing given a choice the later MI03 would be the one to have?

At the moment, DSHG is graphically identical to DSH5, so not obvious what's changed. It usually takes some time for them to update the image.

Well, there is a batch of folks that are scheduled to take delivery this week of cars built in late April (including myself, but I’ll be later in the week or early next).

We shall see.

What difference do you see when switching between DSH5 and DSH7? Can it have something to do with the material on the dashboard? The Alcantara was removed at some point for example.

My (Swiss) MX 100D order was updated today with a delivery estimate.

And my code changed to MI03. I had made a copy of my codes just yesterday and it had MI02.

I had been informed by my DS that my car would be built this week.

I'm really curious about this!

There has been a interior change with the new oak wood decor and lack of creme interior for the P100D. Could be that MI03 is just a description for cars that can use the new interior trim options?

Meanwhile my car has changed to MI03 as well! My car is already in Tilburg and waiting for delivery in 48 hours

I received an email from Tesla today that the trim on my pending car will be switched to the "graphite finish" being discussed above. Screen shot attached.

Looking forward! I have a S100D on order (delivery in September) and I see it has MI03 and DSH5 at the moment. I'll ask somewhere next week what I'll get. Production will probably be in June.

It is most noticeable with the new cream interior. This is also a higher resolution picture.

I am not liking the lighter oak wood with the creme interior. I think the darker wood colors are better.

Also the creme looks noticeably different from the former tan interior. More like a no brash white.

My gut reaction when I see this color combo is “that looks like a German luxury car” I think it’s great.
