Those of us in the Pacific Northwest will be fine!ABS has a glass transition temperature of around 221 F, so it should remain ductile up until and slightly past the point where water would be boiling. So it … should. Be fine.
I’d be more concerned about brittleness. ABS becomes brittle below about -20F, which for some of you folks in CA might be an issue. But so would the entire mud flap at that point. (Big rock could crack it). That’s why I pre-gapped the clip so it would be under minimum stress.
That’s probably why most mud flaps are made of some form of Injection molded Neoprene which stays useable until about -50F.
Edit: Also worth pointing out the nylon fastners holding your fender wells in and rocker panels on etc are probably made of nylon 6,6 (with some extra stuff) which also has a minimum service temperature of between -40 F and -22 F. They, like the mud flaps, are fine at those temps but may shatter/break if subjected to stress.
It seems like it’s been a long race but you definitely have crossed the finish line a real winner. Superb work.Last form vs final form:

I think the last form personally looked better, but it just did not provide enough coverage long term.
Some daytime pics tomorrow.
Tomorrow (or Wed) I’ll finalize the rears with the new clip.
Then im ready to organize getting some sets built for others.
Good call there. You theoretically could, but it’s quite tight back there, would probably save yourself some time removing a tire. (Just remember to set jack mode first)
Some daytime shots of the final profile:

I paid some firefighters to do that actually. And he even had time to put up his Christmas lights... now I really feel like a slacker...
Absolutely fantastic. Never been so excited for flaps on any car I’ve ever owned.FINAL rear flap. With the integrated clip. Dual thermoformed angles for wheel well shape and finessed the clip “closed” position for minimal stress after install.
2 bolts per side! No drilling! No PPF needed, but doesn’t hurt.

And on the car:

Working on my other side now.
Going to take a few days now to figure up how I’m going to collect money/keep up with orders, then I’ll open up and ship in the order I’ve been DMed on here.
