Model S Refresh Mud/Splash Guards

These are the ones I have ordered. Should be here in a couple of days. I pick the car up on Sunday. Presume I'm still going to have the issue of no real way to mount them on the rear?

Please send a report once installed. I have been watching those but the price is significant and a huge delivery time window from China so I want to make sure they would be perfect. I am quite happy with the Pro-Fit #1s but you have to have the stones to drill holes into the plastic parts on your car

So I received my $70 mudflaps from eBay, took about 2 weeks to get them. They seem well made. The outer plastic has a carbon fiber like effect. There's a number of fittings but no instructions on what to do with them. Guess I'm going to be seeing if I can attach them in the SC car park to get some protection before PPF the next day. If anyone has any hints I'll take 'em ;)

(Only took photos of the two, obviously there's actually 4)

Don't believe they will fit properly without drilling holes into your car's wheel wells. Let us know otherwise.

A little aside to this topic but related to wheel wells. Here is a picture inside my front wheel well. It is strange that there is such an exposed area/opening for road wash (and rodents) to get into the vehicle. Can anyone verify if their front wheel well looks the same please ?

How'd it go?

Unlike with the Y and 3, I feel it will be a long time coming before someone invests in custom flaps for the S or X - too low of a production volume to justify investment in molds, etc. For this reason, I was quick to install $20 generic flaps last August - with zero regrets.

Does not fit. I am trying to get a refund with zero success so far. Seller has stopped communicating. Fyi

Here is what is embossed on the flaps.

I asked the seller prior to buying if it fit the plaid/long range 2021 and he said yes. Clearly it doesn’t and wasn’t designed for it.
