Mine came with the 3M tape as the marketing illustrations show. In general these mud guards work great without being overly visual. Thanks! Do these come with the double sided tape? Assuming they do.

Who makes those? And where did you get them?Mine came with the 3M tape as the marketing illustrations show. In general these mud guards work great without being overly visual.
Here you go. Works great.Ah bummer, I was hoping it came with double sided tape. Now I have to order the tape you are recommending, I assume Amazon sells it?

Those don’t look large enough to do much good. They do really work great? You could tell a difference once you installed them?Tesla Model S Carbon Fiber Mud Flaps (Set of 4) - Updated Design

Now that’s just plain mean and bragging! Posting unobtainable mud flaps. You couldn’t have traced a template before installing them?Got my @M4H4X flaps installed finally. They look and work so great!
Not much use tracing. There’s an area where it bends to a clip. I sent @M4H4X a DM. I really hope he comes back. Now that’s just plain mean and bragging! Posting unobtainable mud flaps. You couldn’t have traced a template before installing them?
Seriously, glad to hear you were one of the lucky few.
I saw that. But I was thinking of tracing just for the shape of the flap and location of the push pins. I could use 3M tape instead of the clip. Not much use tracing. There’s an area where it bends to a clip. I sent @M4H4X a DM. I really hope he comes back.
He won't be - he posted that he traded in his Plaid for a Taycan way back when. While that doesn't prevent him from making mudflaps, it could very well reduce motivation to do so. I'd be happy to be wrong, of course. Not much use tracing. There’s an area where it bends to a clip. I sent @M4H4X a DM. I really hope he comes back.
Yeah, he posted a comment which read something like “ glad to pass the torch to a potential new vendor” in the AOSK mud flap thread. He won't be - he posted that he traded in his Plaid for a Taycan way back when. I do agree though, his flaps are the best! They were easy install and work great - very minimal.
I do, but I get exactly the same in wh/mi in sport mode. I run chill to resist the temptation of blowing off someone that pisses me off and getting a ticket That’s the only reason. Not for efficiency.Lifetime of 248 is incredible! Do you run in chill mode all the time?

I think it may depend on the environment in which one lives. I agree that your flaps aesthetically are nice, however, they would not provide useful coverage where I live as we get significant amounts of rain. As well, I drive into the mountains in the winter and encounter snow, salt, sands etc. Flaps, to be effective in these environments, need to stick out wider than yours do. However, I can understand how the narrower flaps may work well in drier environments. The more options at are available to model S owners, the better. I simply cut my own from generic flaps in a shape that suits my purposes.Yeah the Tsportline ones being so dinky is the reason I made mine! Beautiful, lots of coverage, and no drilling required. Super simple and easy install!
Also made mine because, no offense to him, but the M4H4X flaps were super ugly in shape. Remind me of the Rally Armor flaps all the tuners put on their Focus STs and WRXs lol.
Do those actually cover the front wheel entirely? The second picture makes it look not so…Just installed my Vipertoad mudfflaps. I think they look great compared to others I have seen. I like them because they aren’t as big as most and not as small as the Tsportline ones. Install was easy but would have been nice if double sided tape was included for the price of these and one clip would have been better as well given the contour of the area it attaches to. Without the clip I’m wondering if the tape by itself will hold them long term. Here are some pics. View attachment 820894View attachment 820896
They cover the tread part of the tire but not the outside edge/bubble part of the tire. I also have aftermarket wheels that have a more aggressive offset. I just wish there was a set for the rear wheels that matched the front set that were around the same size even a little smaller since I don’t think large coverage is needed for the back.Do those actually cover the front wheel entirely? The second picture makes it look not so…
I just looked at the pic, the pic was taken after install so I still had the wheel turned a bit so now I see what you are saying. Probably should have straightened the wheel.Do those actually cover the front wheel entirely? The second picture makes it look not so…
How can a new Model S refreshed 2022 owner get a front and rear set?I do not see myself in the list requested a couple weeks back.
Is it possible to add me, pls?
Thank you for the hard work!
