That's actually not good they used him. He doesn't think Tesla will make and and always paints everything with the worst case scenario (you always charge the full battery pack with the slowest source possible in his mind). The MotorTrend article was much better and balanced.
Not a bad quick debate. Hit some highlights and I feel it was an overall positive buzz for the Model S.
Even charging the 85kWh pack on a NEMA 14-30 at 24A would get you 16 hours, not 18 hours. Besides most people will install a 14-50 outlet and recharge at 40A cutting the time to 9 hours.
