Really great page here! We've noticed a lot of questions regarding true colors! (We are a Vinyl/PPF installation shop in Redwood City) and have fielded a lot of questions like these are we primarily work with Tesla's. One thing we've done is begun to build a database of vinyl colors that match Tesla Factory paint colors! Tesla Factory Paint/Vinyl Color Match Please let us know which other colors yea;; would like matches for. One that is tricky is the optional Obsidian Black Metallic PMBL. Thanks y'all!

“In order to increase our production, delivery and service efficiency, we will be removing Metallic Silver and Obsidian Black Metallic as paint options from our online vehicle configurators for Model S, Model X and Model 3. This will be effective on Thursday, September 13, 2018, after which Metallic Silver and Obsidian Black Metallic will be offered only as limited edition colors via special request at a cost of $2,000 only until Friday, September 21, 2018.”
As this is a paint color thread it seems appropriate to share this little video we created that answers a lot of common Ceramic Pro questions we regularly get! I hope its helpful to anyone thinking about ceramic pro
(We're a certified Ceramic Pro installer in the SF Bay Area).
Can anymore tell me if the Tesla 2019 metallic blue is a slightly lighter shade than on a 2015 era metallic blue or is it exactly the same? I have a new 2019 s on order and in the reservation page it looks a bit lighter than my current blue s.
