Does it matter that much? The currencies are (unfortunately for us Americans) almost 1:1 and have been for awhile.

No, he is clearly wanting 130,000 oboes for the car, which is a rather unusual unit of currency. Perhaps a local symphony orchestra will buy it.

    But it's a Signature, not a Performance.

I contacted Hannah at Hannah's Oboes (Outstanding Used and New Oboes and English Horns | Buy and Sell), and she said that she could get me 130,000 oboes for $299 each, or $38,870,000 in total, and that it will take about two years to get them made. Of course, the shipping will also be a challenge, but I figure I can jam one into the frunk, and put two in the front seat, five in the rear seat, and then three in the suicide seat section, and then I will bungee/tape/strap three on top, for a total of 13 oboes per trip. Hannah is in Arizona, so the 1,000 drives to Vancouver may be difficult on my marriage, but so be it. Anyway, if I drive the oboes up to Vancouver the cost will be close to free if I can just stick to the superchargers and free charge locations.

But $39 million may be a bit high for me, given that the wait time is dropping so quickly for the Model S.

So I assume the required 10,000 trips might be a real strain?

    Oops. Typo on that.

Yeah, I was down with the 10,000 trips as I likes me a good road trip. Plus with the 17" screen I figure I could watch a lot of movies and play on the Internet while driving. Watch all the cat videos I can find on YouTube.
