Model S Sliding ArmRest

So my sliding arm rest came unscrewed. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get this off and screw it back in. Thank you everyone

I think when that happens you need to rip apart a good chunk of the center console.

It screws in from underneath if I recall. You could also try popping off the top half of the track that is exposed, screw it back in, then reseat the track.

the way you normally remove the armrest is to place it partially open and lift hard from the cup holder. So, just pop the bar it's attached to up, screw on the armrest and push it back on. No big deal.

Too many questions I know but I lost the screws when they came loose. What do I replace them with? Headed to Lowe’s and play around with maybe some metric cap screws.

Never too many questions. My advice is to remove the other armrest, and match the screws.

It is the same for all Models and yrs until the refresh cars in 2021. So if you have a sliding armrest the youtube video I uploaded linked above will be your solution.

Late to the party, but did you know there is Tesla SB on this, and it is covered under warranty, if the warranty is still in effect?

I know this is an old post but I really like how you can pop out the sliding armrest. Looking underneath the armrest in the pictures above I see the staples holding the vinyl in place. My problem is the drivers side sliding armrest has some worn marks on the "leather". I assume I can pop that side off and take it to an upholstery shop and have them match the beige vinyl? Has anyone done this?

Tennesseehor, I had mine replaced a few years ago with better leather.

There is a service bulletin on this. If you are under warranty it would be fixed for free, but it easy to do yourself.
