Model S stops detecting USB flash drive

After the last V8.0 patch, which restored the alphabetized search to USB flash drive music, my car stops detecting that the flash drive is plugged in, after being parked overnight. I have to take out the flash drive and plug it back it for it to start working again. Anyone having same problem? Solutions? Tesla service has been less than helpful
