Model S vs. Ford Taurus value comparison

I saw a comparison (I thought it was over a 10 year span) of a fairly base Model S vs. around a $40K Ford Taurus (at least I think it was a Taurus) recently somewhere. Now I can’t find the website.

Does anyone have the website handy? Thanks.

I think those comparisons are kind of stupid. A 40k Ford is likely discounted by 6k new and u can easily buy one that's just 1 year used for probably 30% less. These kinds of analysis don't generally take such facts into account. Also, buying even a basic Model S means you either have lots of cash or are able to easily handle 1000+/m payments on even a 72 month loan. Those are completely different things...

Most people can't handle that kind of cash flow and can't afford a Model S even if somehow you can show that the Cost of Ownership of both turn out to be similar.

While I appreciate your thoughts, I am just interested in finding the website/article. I need it for a particular purpose.

As you can see from my signature, I already own my Tesla.
