Sound like they introduced a bug, then fixed it in the next version.

But there are three things that should never get missed. Brakes, steering, and throttle. A malfunctioning window or broken fart sound is unlikely to kill you. I cannot even imagine why they were tinkering with steering calibration.

It really irritates me that the ABC is putting this under motoring/luxury, and for balance, they really should also mention every other brand of car that has caused a deadly accident. When some Neander SUV aka Ford Ranger mowed down an entire family in Western Sydney some time ago, they didn't mention the brand. Bet they would have if it was a Tesla.

It is either lazy journalism or part of the ever increasing FUD storm, or both. Agree though that tinkering with these components requires a little more care than, say, changes to the media player.
