Fun with web page design changes?

It's Sunday: so another day, and another new and inscrutably unintelligible comment on the My Tesla page. On Saturday, the new comment was:

"What's Next?

Your Tesla will be ready for pick-up at the Tesla service center of your choice."

Now, on Sunday, that comment has been removed and replaced with:

"What's Next?
Your Tesla is currently in production."

Alas, "Your Tesla is currently in production" was the new phrase added back on November 11 that generated so much excitement on my part. Not a single statement that has appeared on the My Tesla page over the last month, and not a single comment from the Delivery Specialist has even approached reality or reflected what actually occurs.

This automotive manufacturing beta testing experience is a bumpy ride. I decided to decline Tesla's exotic option of a leopard skin lined glove compartment or Genuine Lawrence Welk gold glitter headliner, and kept my option requests mainstream and mundane. So I am at a loss to explain why my Telsa has remained "in production" over a month waiting for some rare and mysterious part.
Do you call or email your DS? If they are unresponsive call the factory sales line and explain the situation.
haha this is really funny... mine went back from Tillburg to pre-production...

What's Next?

Your Tesla order has been confirmed and scheduled for production in our factory.
Oh, my, I am very sorry...:( I wonder if there is still an issue building the 5 seat model.

Please give a bit of help to the cause. What are the last 5 digits of your VIN number, and when did your My Tesla page announce that your car was in production? That will give some perspective and guidance to other members of the wait for 5 seats club.

Alas, I have heard the phrase "this coming week" from my Delivery Specialist on two occasions over the last month. In neither case, has the statement been accurate. We are all rooting for you. For perspective, I was advised that my Tesla entered production on November 11. Still no Tesla.

My VIN: FO25813

Today's My Tesla Page News: something new and exciting every day. Here is what My Tesla just reported to me this morning:

>>>>>>What's Next?
Your Tesla has been built and is in transit from the factory. Learn about your Tesla. View walkthrough videos.

    • Estimated Delivery Range: December 14, 2016 - December 21, 2016<<<<<<<<

Transit from the factory? That would be the 1 minute drive from the assembly line in Fremont to the showroom in Fremont.

My Delivery Specialist gave me a call last evening. He provided a translation of the statement provided earlier yesterday by the My Tesla page: the car has been "built" but is sitting in the factory awaiting undelivered seat lever parts for the second row bench seats. Date for arrival of the undelivered parts? Unknown. Maybe this week, maybe next week. They are small parts, related to seating safety issues, and that is what is hiding up deliveries of 5 seat Model X cars.

Good info, thank you.

This explains the many reports (several on this forum) of people seen 5 seaters without the side levers at SCs. They seem to not merely be "adjusting them" (as has been the word so far), but actually waiting for parts too... I guess Tesla decided to use the wait for parts to ship the cars to SCs (to be closer to customers), so that the small parts can be "fedexed in" once available and delivery be made quicker.

A common story with the Model X overall, they are continuing a tradition. :)

My 5 seater was scheduled for delivery 12/8. Got an email that some seat trim pieces are broken and will delay the delivery. Tentatively rescheduled for 12/15. Got an email that parts still not in. Better make it 12/22. I said I wanted to meet with the DS and look at the car to better understand a 2 week repair on a brand new car. He was willing and I saw, sure enough: no levers on the sides of the back seat to release the seat back. Got a call later that the parts are going to Fremont and then be overnighted to the SC. Not sure when: Maybe 12/15-12/18.

Looking at the bench seat I was disturbed to see no fold-down center armrest. I didn't get to sit in them but still, I feel like I will have to apologize to my friends and relations sitting in the back for such a basic seat in a fabulously expensive car. All along, I have feared that the Model X wouldn't hold a candle to my 5 year old Honda Pilot. Initially, it looks like the back seat is an example of that.

Are there armrests on the 2nd row then? Pics?

No, I don't think there are armrests in the Model X on the second row in any seating version. (Nor are there on the Model S, except on the short-lived four seater.)

The middle-seat does have a different leather pattern than the outside seats on the five-seater, but I guess that is only related to the smaller headrest/smaller middle seat and not to any kind of armrest action.

However, there was a pull-down armrest seven-seater (you can see how the leather pattern is different there too) - as well as the better known fixed six-seater arm rest - prototype/demo seen at the Model X launch in 2015, so Tesla has been toying with this, but not released AFAIK...

This is the seven-seater demo:
