Model X 75D Deliveries

I have certainly learned a great deal after reading these 4 pages of posts about the P75D.
The car I ordered on 12/20/15 was a 70D (black with white interior, all options and 22" onyx black wheels), and until now I had no idea there was a change. It appears there's a $3,000.00 up-charge, but does anyone know if that means I'll be charged the extra amount at delivery?
I was Reservation #91xx, reserved on 4/12/14. Last Friday I spoke with my Delivery Specialist and was told that delivery would probably be in the 4th quarter, but if I upgrade from 5 seats to 6 seats there would be a chance of an earlier delivery date.
Any feedback and/or guidance from anyone out there is greatly appreciated!

Yes. All 70D on order were upgraded free of charge to 75D. Deliveries for X75D with 6/7 seats have started this month. Looks like you might already have SAS. So it will be the $3000 extra if you go with 6 seats.

My blue 75D was finished production on June 19th, and is being shipped to Danica beach, Fl now. Delivery scheduled for Thursday the 30th! Blue 75D with PUP, Autopilot, upgraded to SAS for half price, 20 inch wheels

Took delivery, all upgrades except premium audio. Loved the drive to JAX from Orlando. Falcon wing doors are definitely a head turner

def not loving the way tesla is taking the reservations and fulfilling them. feel bad for the 5 seat coil owners as seems like you guys are for end of year delivery at best.

i would hate the be one of the first reservation holders just to be one of the last to get my car.

ie, the moral of the story is, if you dont get a highly optioned car, dont put down a deposit.

As best as I can tell from reading all the 75D (6 or 7 seat) threads here and on the TM Forum, the only 75D VINs assigned so far have been to reservation holders. Is this accurate? Has anyone received a VIN who ordered directly from the Design Studio with no prior reservation?
(My order: 18 Apr 2016, 75D, 6 seat, SAS, no VIN yet)

I called today and my 75D is in factory gate routing now, it could leave the factory anytime, hopefully today.

mine is coming on wednesday, just saying for those with 5 seats. but yes i agree. also forget paying the $500, i'd rather opt for the SAS upgrade at $1250 and changing the seats for free instead of paying 4500 and changing seats.

I just upgraded from 5 seats to 6 seats. Hopefully they'll waive the $500 change fee, and hopefully I'll be behind the wheel of my new X soon! I sincerely appreciate everyone's assistance with my questions.

Mine is now in QA. We don't know when it entered QA but it's a 48-72hr process. Still on target for this Thursday 6/30.

@Bishop , @halg : Thanks for the replies. I guess the VIN assignment process will just remain one of the great mysteries of life. I hope it won't be too much longer until I can report my VIN. I may get to inaugurate the "Model X September Deliveries" thread!

I need help from forum members. Currently, I have MX - solid black with ultra-white, standard 20" wheels. I want to change color and wheels. These are my options with Ultra White interior (UW is a must). PLEASE help me out, though I do realize these are personal choices. .

1) Deep Blue Metallic/Ultra white interior with 20" standard silver wheels (or 22" Silver turbine wheels)
OR
2) Solid black/Ultra white interior with 22" Onyx turbine wheels
