The car is worth whatever price the seller will accept from at least one willing buyer. Different buyers have different ideas as to what they will pay, and each seller has their own opinion as to what they are willing to sell their car for.

I would either accept or decline. If declining, I'd probably also give a counter offer.

Although, I think I know what your saying; and obviously, in this case it seems the two of you are pretty far apart so it's not likely you will come to a mutually agreeable price. That said, you never know how it will play out unless you engage.
